Keystone Symposia: Immunometabolism Across Scales: From Cells to Systems to Healthspan
This meeting will explore the intersection of metabolism and immunity across biological scales, and their interplay in health and disease. The program will examine how nutrient signaling, microbial metabolite s, and neuro-immune interactions shape these immunometabolism mechanisms and influence health, aging, and disease, illuminating translational strategies for improving healthspan.
Bringing together diverse expertise across siloes, the meeting will foster collaboration, methodology sharing, and innovation in tools to advance this rapidly evolving field. Additionally, this meeting will be held jointly with the Keystone Symposium on “From Systems Immunology to Immunoengineering,” to enable cross-disciplinary insights and collaborations towards utilizing systems biology approaches to understand the complexities of immunometabolic mechanisms and contributions to disease.

Abstract Submission Due: The 21st Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS) Congress
The 21st Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS) Congress, will be held in Brisbane, Australia in 2026! The IDS Congress is the premiere meeting for the international community of researchers, clinicians and industry representatives studying the pathogenesis and treatment of type 1 diabetes. Every 18 months, members of IDS convene to share the latest in cutting edge research, debate big questions in the field, and catch up with old and new colleagues. The Brisbane conference is sure to be another memorable IDS meeting, and we look forward to your participation. Meeting Dates: April 20 - 24, 2026.

Keystone Symposia: Microbiome Metabolism and Metabolites: Discovery and Function in Health and Disease
This conference will highlight cutting-edge technologies for discovering microbiome-derived metabolites, mapping the genes behind their production, and revealing their functional roles. Specifically, we will focus on metabolites that arise from microbial metabolism of (1) host-derived compounds, (2) dietary molecules, and (3) xenobiotics—including plasticizers, pollutants, drugs, and environmental molecules absorbed through skin or inhalation. In addition, the program will examine microbial biosynthesis from genetic elements such as gene clusters found in bacteria, archaea, fungi, and even phages. These insights hold promise for transformative applications in managing health and disease across medicine, agriculture, and environmental sciences.

dkNET Webinar "Precision Diabetes: Understanding and Managing Gluco se Dysregulation Using Deep Data and Remote Monitoring"
Join dkNET Webinar on Friday, January 23, 2026, 11 am - 12 pm PT
Presenter: Michael Snyder, PhD, Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Genetics; Director, Stanford Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine, School of Medicine, Stanford University
Abstract
We use deep data and longitudinal measurements to monitor health which enable both early detection of disease and personal aging patterns (ageotypes). Remote monitoring using devices (e.g smartwatches) and microsampling enables frequent measurements and high resolution health tracking. Using (Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) we demonstrate that individuals have personalized glucose responses to different carbohydrates. We further show that individuals have different subtypes of glucose dysregulation (e.g. muscle insulin resistance, beta cell defect, incretin effects) and that the response and mitigation of the postprandial response depends upon the dysregulation subtype. Association of lifestyle including food, activity and timing are correlated with glucose levels. This information enables personalized management of glucose dysregulation.
The top 3 key questions that these resources can answer:
1. Which types of measurements are most powereful and why?
2. What are the correlations between lifestyle and glucose levels?
3. Where does AI impact diabetes research?

Keystone Symposia: Obesity Therapeutics: Unlocking Benefits and Minimizing Side Effects
This meeting will integrate current knowledge with the lates t discoveries on obesity drug mechanisms, exploring benefits beyond weight loss. Topics integrate biological insights into glucagon, amylin, and en teroendocrine cell secretion, with translational advances in drug discovery, combination therapies and strategies to minimize side effects and preserving muscle mass.
Held jointly with the Keystone Symposium on “Cardiometabolism in Health and Disease,” this conference will foster cross-disciplinary insights and collaborations to enable better understanding of the intersection of these diseases, and their treatments, accelerating progress in both fields.
