Notes: Y607 is in a putative SH2 binding site. ASI2 is nonessential for vegetative growth. Matings between ASI2Y607F somatic replacement strains have reduced fertility and delayed endocycling during MAC development. For paromomycin resistance, add 0.5 ug/ul CdCl2 along with the parmomycin.
