Notes: Genetically Epilepsy-Prone Rats (GEPR-3) have moderate levels of seizure predisposition. This colony,initially referred to as an AGS (audiogenic response score) colony, was bred to exhibit clonic convulsions (moderate seizures with an ARS of 3) following a single wild running phase in response to sound. Siezures model human generalized tonic/clonic seizures. Rat Resource and Research Center
